Holiday Ideas from Naia

by Chris

Ok, we know; the Thanksgiving turkey leftovers haven’t been finished yet and the big businesses are already talking Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas or New Year’s! But don’t all those holiday ideas start to look the same?

Well, our tiny company wants to shoulder aside all those big bullies and offer up some unique ideas instead:

  • A Gelato Mini Party!

As a small business ourselves, we know the pinch when it comes time to planning the office holiday party. Instead of a full blown dinner (or rather, potluck), why not try a mini office party that will still be memorable and even a little over-the-top? For one low flat fee of $250, we shut down the store for your own private gelato party. It is available for any hour (noon to 10pm) at Naia North Beach, San Francisco from Mondays through Thursday. You and your friends or officemates (up to 20 in total) can eat as much gelato as they want during that hour! Yes, that’s all you can eat gelato. Interested in more details? Please send us an email.

  • Gift certificates.

Have some friends and family in the Bay Area you’d like to share our gelato with for the holidays? Ok, gift certificates aren’t all that novel, but what’s new for us is letting you purchase gift certificates from the comfort of their own home using our online store! We are opening the online store next week; it will allow you to purchase the certificates in time to be mailed for the holidays.

  • Pints of Naia’s gelato.

Have some friends and family outside of the Bay Area you’d like to share our gelato with for the holidays? The online store will also offer to ship pints of gelato (in collections of four) to your friends and family for the holidays. We get all sorts of requests from Chicago, IL to Richmond, TX and we’re happy to try this pilot program out. We are also planning on selling “annual subscriptions” of our gelato to make sure those same friends and family can taste our seasonal flavors too!
