Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!

It’s that time of year again: Our gelato oompa-loompas are covered in chocolate, couverture and cocoa powder and the kitchen smells fantastic! Yes, for the fourth year running we are celebrating Valentine’s Day by filling an entire showcase with 22 different flavors of chocolate!
Starting on Wednesday, February 14th, each of our five locations will feature an entire showcase with chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate gelati. Our other showcase will still feature the favorite gelato flavors as well as fresh fruit sorbetto and soy.
We like to use Valentine’s Day to release a new chocolate flavor; last year’s was Keoke Coffee. With the Flavor of the Week programme this year, we have a special treat: We have teamed up with chef Michael Mischer of Michael Mischer’s Chocolates in Oakland to release a gelato version of one of his most popular chocolates; Bouche Provençal.
